Objectives
At the end of this course delegates will be able to take practical actions to motivate their team members. Quickly recognise signs of different levels of motivation in the work environment, identify what is motivating a team member, understanding the difference between compliance and commitment, recognise and use intrinsic motivators, manage demotivated staff and identify and use appropriate recognition and rewards.

- Identify individual motivators and use these to encourage great performance.
- Understand how needs influence motivation and use these needs to encourage great performance.
- Overcome de-motivation and negative behaviour.
- Use appropriate techniques to address different symptoms of de-motivation. Learn how to manage cynics and energise those that would otherwise drain energy from the team.
