As women comprise of approximately half of the UK’s workforce, the Menopause is a huge issue that affects many of these women in business. It doesn’t just affect the person going through it, it can have an impact on families and the workplace and we need to be able to open up these discussions to help support the people affected on a daily basis.

Thousands of women each day experience menopause symptoms as below which, in turn, if not addressed can cause increased absenteeism, ill-health and mental health issues:
  • Hot flushes
  • Irregular periods
  • Mood swings
  • Anxiety
  • Poor memory
There are many myths and facts that affect how we treat others and how this can impact on wellbeing. Our workshop, which can be delivered as a bite-sized session (will give organisations the opportunity to think about support structures for their menopausal employees to allow them to continue to be engaged as team members, creating improved and working practices.

Workshop overview: This workshop will help to highlight some of the challenges that women and men face during the menopause. It looks at taking positive steps to help manage these challenges and provide practical solutions and techniques for managers, leaders and individuals to enable positive behaviours that promote positive thinking and communication around the issues of the menopause.
